#0305 - Setting up a copy iJET panel scanner (such as PUMA HS36
and COPYmate 18) for scanning to file to a remote network PC
Description – This FAQ relates to setting
up the following scanner configuration for network scan to file
functionality:
1. The scanner is a copy scanner with iJET panel
technology.
2. The scanner is connected to the network directly through its LAN
interface - no PC interfaces the scanner.
3. The PC that is to receive the scans is on the same local network
as the scanner.
In order to send scans into a designated
folder on a network PC:
1. Network related settings must be applied on
the scanner through its iJET panel.
2.The PC on the network that will receive the scans must be configured
for the function through WIDEsystem software installed on that PC.
Solution:
